Today is the first day of the OTAs. As usual, we'll get excited about every single report and we'll discuss those at length because that's what we do.

So let's go.

And, just in case, you can check the 90 man roster heading into the OTAs right here:

Lets go. I fully expect great tweets from Butler, Hayden, and Wilson.

Vic Tafur ‏@VicTafur
Bergstrom 1st team left guard as expected. New line coach Sparano was high on him when he scouted him for Jets - & not as zone-blocking guy

This is good. It would be nice to fill that spot and hopefully have Watson be a serviceable RT this season. Would be very encouraging going into 2014.

Quote:
Jerry McDonald ‏@Jerrymcd
First day Raider OTA don't see Cribbs, Deonte Williams, Kyle Padron. Everyone accounted for, even Janikowski ...

Cribbs isn't ready to go yet. Don't know what's the deal with Williams and Padron.

Apparently, Padron hasn't graduated yet so he can't practice.

Quote:
Steve Corkran ‏@CorkOnTheNFL
Offensive line, from left to right: Veldheer, Bergstrom, Wisniewski, Brisiel and Barnes.

No surprise there.

I read a rumor that Padron is likely to be cut. Not at practice and w/ the recent signing of McGloin, it's not looking good for him.

As if this really needed to be stated.

Vic Tafur ‏@VicTafur 2m
Early review: Wilson better than Pryor on short stuff; Pryor better than Wilson on deep throws

Let the competition begin!

Interesting. I knew Wilson had a bad deep ball, but I didn't know ity was pukeworthy.

I find that surprising. I thought Pryor had a pretty bad deep game.

It looks better when he lobs it 30 yards than 10 yards.

Thats what I was thinking, but even still I'm a tad surprised Wilson's is that bad.

For what it's worth, Corkran and Gutierrez seem to disagree.

I trust Vic & Mac more though. Cork's a moron (we all know) and seems to have a mancrush on Wilson. Guitz isn't as involved with the Raiders as the others. Curious to see what Levi thinks.
