With the 10th pick in round 14, the Mesopotamia Marauders select:

Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys

I couldn’t resist any longer, even if it may create problems down the road. With a deep threat already on board, someone with physicality and the ability to get the tough yards on 3rd down was a priority, and with his blocking ability Spiller will have even more space to operate.

With the 1st pick of round 15, the Mesopotamia Marauders select:

Dont'a Hightower, ILB, New England Patriots

Not all the Alabama defenders have had smooth transitions to the NFL, but Hightower certainly showed he’s a natural in his rookie year. An excellent pass rusher (important for Rex Ryan) he’s also better in coverage than people expected, and is a force against the run. A very good player made excellent by the scheme fit.

Just realized Grimey switched his pick. I was giving him 12 hrs. Stupid Adam...

Anyway, Mr. Irrelevant of the Veteran Draft I goes to... Wes Welker, slot WR! I feel as if he will fit really well into what Philibin does on offense, and it gives me a reliable guy to take some of the load off of Andre Johnson. My goal is to get playmakers, but reliable targets at WR and steady, reliable, do-it-all RBs.
