How big is the starting nose tackle for your favorite NFL team? Pretty big, right? Over six feet tall, over 300 pounds, something like that? Whatever. He might as well be an easily frightened child in the presence of Hafthor Bjornsson, the 69, 419-pound behemoth that the Colts might sign, according to owner Jim Irsay:

WOW
Shocked

he's a biggin'. what position would he play though? I mean, he's a super jacked 440 pounder, maybe too lean (sounds funny right?) for DT...DE maybe?

419 pounds? Would that make him the biggest player in terms of weight in NFL history?

That would be a yes. Seeing people 400+ pounds of just fat were rare in the early years of NFL football so I'd say this might be one of if not the heaviest guy in NFL history.

Shocked

And he's only 24. My biggest questions are his stamina, hands, and footwork.

If the Colts sign him, it would be an excellent low risk, high reward move. As we have seen recently, teams are placing a premium on finding freak talents. We saw Ziggy Ansah go in the top 5 and Margus Hunt in the second round in this year's draft, despite little football experience.

The Jets actually made a somewhat similar move last year, although with an athlete closer to actual normal human size. We signed Hayden Smith, a professional rugby player, to a 3-year contract. He never put on a football helmet in his life until OTAs last year. Now, one year later, he's being mentioned as a breakout candidate and a possible starter at TE this season.

Wow wtf, this guy's body mass looks like The Rock's... Usually, guys this big have knee issues since the knees have to hold up so much weight and pressure. It could work though for protection on either d-line or o-line. Imagine him playing OT, Luck wouldn't get touched from one side of the field. Laughing

I wouldn't expect much though from staying healthy aspect tho.

I don't suspect he could pass a PED test anyway!
