I'm so conflicted. On one hand, Ingram is a former Gamecock. On the other hand, he's a current Charger. Certainly a shame for Ingram, regardless.

The seeming folly of the Chargers is shaping up nicely to be a huge blowout loss for my Texans on the Monday night opener.

"Hugh in CT" says his son (Dwight Freeney) is still in San Diego. Question is scheme. Hugh thought it would be Det, NE, or Ten.

Sad news, I was looking for him to blow up this year too. Have a speedy recovery

Not Freeney, but Chargers signed former Panthers LB Thomas Keiser, 4 sacks in 2011.

That is horrible news, I'm guessing their pass rush will be pretty awful

I don't think most Chargers fans had any pretensions of the team going anywhere this year.

EDIT I m3ean I root for them and all, but I have a pretty hard time seeing them go anywhere but MAYBE 8-8 at best. But who knows

Freeney left San Diego without having signed a contract, as outside linebacker Thomas Keiser was instead the one to ink a deal.

Terrible news for the Chargers. Ingram's such a great talent. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
