Trust BB to make sure the Rutgers clan are signed first.

Can anyone name me a better athlete from this draft?

Margus Hunt?

Anyone else?

Lawrence Okoye?

Nope, that's it.

NBT compared him to Terrell Owens... so, no?

In terms of pure athleticism, Okoye is close, that's about it. Hunt, while very solid, isn't in the class of those guys as an athlete.

I don't doubt that Collins will be a good player.

The big question is: Where does he play?

Do the Pats move back to a 3-4? Even then, with Ninko, Spikes, Hightower, Mayo, and Jones (OLB in a 34)... our Linebacker corps is already packed.

Tough to move back to a 3-4 with almost no 3-4 DL on the roster. No backup NT, Kelly has played 5-technique but is a poor fit as a 2-gap guy and Armstead - while physically meeting the prototype - hasn't really done it before.

The backups? Just about nobody.

I think it's clear the Pats are shifting towards a "base" which is really their sub 4-2-5 or 3-3-5. They've been using it so much as it is that it's not surprising that they're moving more and more in that direction in terms of their personnel.

The shift has already happened, as far as I'm concerned. I think they're going to go with a five DB look a lot this season, with the fifth DB being a hybrid playing the star position, most likely the two Wilsons.
