Interesting that the Raiders had about $6M in cap space before signing Woodson or finishing all rookie contracts.

When the contracts are finished, the team will be very near the salary limit. But Raiders are still carrying $46M in dead money contracts. I expect that the Raiders will be very active in free agency for years to come as they need to replace players.

But Huff is a June first cut and drops 8 million so we have room. next year we will have anywhere from 60-80 million in cap space.

I seriously doubt this statement to be accurate. You are stating that out of a possible 120 million plus dollars in salary cap money, the Raiders could have 80 million unspent next season?

I dunno about 60-80 (kinda doubt that) but we have 48 mil in dead money so next season we should have about 50-60 mil pretty easily actually.

As of right now Oakland has about 60-65 mil cap room next year. Expect it to come down with a few resignings, to 40-45.

Yes, but I don't see them just pissin it all away. They are still undoing years of bad drafts and terrible free agent signings. McKenzie didn't come from an organization that just throws dollars around. He will be smart with the money.
