They don't have Tebow anymore. Not interested.

Tebow will still be in Philly, just on the Soul.

Brown will never pick up the offense, nor will he stop fumbling.
He'll be deemed a poor fit and could even end up in KC or Oakland.
I just think the Jets would give the best pick.

You honestly think so, won't even make it into preseason?
I would not want to see that happen, at all.

(Also, if Tebow decided to end up with the Soul, I'm wasting some money on a replica Jersey.)

Trading Brown would make no sense to their approach this year. This is the offseason where competition will be fiercest, where Chip tries to keep as much talent on the roster as possible. Why trade the 2nd best RB on the roster?

Chip's job is to coach. He's not going to turn a talent like Bryce Brown away before trying his hand at coaching him. If he can teach him to hold the football (not impossible) then we'll be making huge gains on a 7th round pick.

Trading Brown away doesn't make the team better.

If he doesn't get it he won't be the 2nd best RB.
If he's more valuable elsewhere than here, the Eagles can get something decent for him and strengthen a weakness without weakening a strength.

Everybody needs to stop falling in love with these guys.

I think my reasons are good enough, so no love affair needed. There's a reason why your scenario isn't going to play out in reality. Brown will be here and will contribute plenty.

I was shocked to see anybody against this signing or to suggest that he doesn't have a chance at making the team. He's a very talented player with tremendous athleticism. Hell, he makes a very good #2 back and a spectacular #3 with big time playmaking ability and the ability to catch out of the backfield, make mismatches against tight ends as Westbrook used to do and the ability to run the ball with success. If we can limit his touches enough to keep him healthy, this could honestly be a big signing for us. If his injuries do prove to be an issue that he can't get past, we lose 35K - chump change in this kind of business.

I don't see Brown going anywhere...I agree though that he isn't untouchable and for a good return (picks) could live with moving him.

But again....I really don't see it happening this year.

If I took anything from his time at Oregon, it is that Chip loves two things, RB's and TE's. Bryce is too talented of a back to trade away before we know what we have. He doesn't present great trade value at this point, so trading him makes little sense. We should hold onto him and see what he can do. If he turns into a potential number 1 back, we either have the best backfield in the NFL, or we can trade him for good value. If he turns out to be a fumble machine still, he was a 7th round pick so we didn't lose too much anyways.

I think that is my biggest issue when it comes to talking about trading him. Our return on investment is not diminishing at this point. We could easily get over a 7th for him right now. If worst comes, we can still get a 7th next off-season after he rides the bench all year.

We didn't go RB on draft day, nor did we go after Jones before then either. They're not sold on replacing brown or finding a new #2. Going into camp with 5 RB's is not crazy, especially given the tempo they are pushing.

I can't see Felix or any1 else being the #2 especially getting an estimated 20 snaps per game.

If that's the case expect Johnson, Jackson to get reps (used like Mamba) flare screens, outside zone, motioned out.

I'm not against trading BB, but definitely not before preseason with live action. If the fumble issue presents itself than yeah

If you wait until he fumbles in games then you lose value.
Pull the trigger while the target is in sight.
Otherwise, you have to wait until a team gets an injury.
By then you've used a roster spot on him and in addition to losing value have possibly lost a player as well.

I am not suggesting the Eagles trade Brown today.
But, if his camp keeps going like it is going it may be a shrewd move.
Consider this: His value may never be higher.

What do you think we could get for Bryce now? I doubt anyone would give us more then a 5th-6th round pick. Is that really worth giving up on the talent that Bryce has?

Why? We have a lot of depth at RB.
