According to NFL.com we do!

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000169313/article/worst-position-groups-in-the-nfl-offense

Quote:
Denarius Moore can be a special player, but he's so rarely 100 percent when he's on the field. He shouldn't be a No. 1 receiver at this stage of his career. The Raiders will let second-year pros Rod Streater and Juron Criner battle behind Moore, with the hope the Jacoby Ford still has something to give. This group actually is better than it was a few years ago in Oakland. There is some promise, but very little production.

They have potential, but we might have one of the least productive WR corps.

We're bottom 5 for certain, though.

Certainly are in contention. Some potential, but that's about it. Been horrible for years. Porter/Moss/Curry was the last successful group the Raiders had if memory serves.

Miss these days Sad

We are definitely bottom 5. We don't have a true number 1 IMO

They also mention Oakland with Worst Quarterback group, and Worst tight end group they are all young groups.

Can they get to training camp let alone even play a game before this kind of junk?

Guess NFL.com needs to create some kind of story out of nothing proven yet.

However, if these groups struggle again they will be addressed in 2014; Reggie is going too have to get some big free agents for this team too make a playoff run.

We have very good potential, but not 1 go to guy...I honestly think Streater is our best WR..even then I only see him catching 50-60 balls for about 750 yards and 5-7 TDs...our best bet is that whoever our QB ends up being can spread the ball around until someone steps up and becomes our #1...if no one does this year WR would be our second biggest need after DE, going into next year...

so far I see our unit like this
Streater
Moore
Ford
Criner
Butler

If we can establish a top 5 running game like we have with DMC and a power running scheme, then I feel our WRs are good enough to have a top 15 offense if our QB doesn't hold us back...too many damn questions marks on this team lol

Well they got to talk about something. I agree with Wrs and Tightends. QBs is probably true to.

I agree, truth hurts...until proven otherwise most of our units are bottom 5 to be honest...

Probably, but at least I like these guys unlike the Moss/Porter days once Porter started. As a back-up to Tim and Jerry I liked him but the TOesque EGO would have developed more had he stuck around for much longer.

I think people focus too much on star power and the "need" for a number 1 which I think is a little ridiculous. I know it's not conventional thinking but I would prefer to have 3-4 solid guys which I believe we will have rather than 1 terrific person w/ a "meh" supporting cast.

Not saying we're not the worst but it's debatable IMO.

I know what you mean, but they aren't mutually exclusive. If you have a true #1, then you could still draft a few WRs (and maybe hit on a late-round/UDFA guy like Streater) and then sign one decent #2 FA.

I honestly can't think of a definite worse group. Closest that comes to mind is NYJ and Cleveland. But Santonio/Kerley puts NYJ ahead of us imo. As does Little/Gordon. We used to be able to count on St. Louis to take this bullet for us for so long. I tried my damndest but I came up with no worse team for WRs. We are the bottom of the barrel, but whatever. We won't be forever.
