Donovan played two years with DeSean.

And McNabb may just be announcing his retirement today. But the NFL announced his retirement over a year ago.

Yeah in his last year with Philly, when DeSean was a rookie.

Anyways else remember how that game above went? I can't seem to recall... Very Happy

Thankfully he was benched when he was, the earthworm population was nearing extinction. It's been flourishing ever since and is on pace to make a full recovery.

Took the Eagles to 4 NFC Championships and 1 Superbowl. Class act and a hall of famer.

I'm not sure if he's a HOFer. He's probably on the cusp, but I don't know if he'll get there.

He needed the ring IMO.

He's on the borderline, IMO. May get in at some point, but it could take awhile. He posted fairly good numbers, and took the Eagles to three straight NFC Championship games, too bad he never got that elusive ring.

Love it Laughing

Always love when players retire personally when 32 teams already declared him retired.

Its even better since he was on tv yet not "retired"

I'm not sure why you're hating on a player who is arguably the best in your franchise's history. Some guys simply have a hard time letting go of a game they've been playing since early childhood, and/or are frustrated by diminishing skills. How Eagles fans (and other fans) have made McNabb the punchline of jokes the past couple years is one of my biggest pet peeves. If you want to joke about someone, choose Leaf or JaMarcus Russell, not a QB who had a great career like McNabb.

Great Career and the most unappreciated player I've probably ever seen in the NFL, Just seemed to never quite recover from TO being TO. "One man doesn't make a team, Break a team maybe" Still a little bitter at how bad he was for Minnesota but I digress. Best wishes to him in retirement borderline HOFer but i doubt he gets in.

I'm not hating on him. I always enjoyed him. I just always find it funny when a player that has been out of the league for awhile announces his retirement. Not that he's retiring just that there is this "announcement". Its not even strictly just him. Its a general how it even comes out. It shouldn't be news.

Breaking news Calvin Johnson announces he will no longer were his newborn onesies

Breaking news Arron Rodgers will no longer going to the 1st grade.

Breaking news peyton manning will no longer be watching new episodes of i love lucy.

Thats how i see the news. Hes not retiring....hes been retired.
