You can post them here. And the 20 nominations can be in any order. I am a man of symmetry and that demands I give 10 and 10. Give 15 and 5 for all I care.

I only have 1 name for you,and in my humble opinion, it is the only one i really care to see at the top of this list:

Emmitt Smith.

I watched a 1-15 team completely turn it around when this guy came into the league. I know he had Aikman and Irvin and a great O line (BTW, it is somewhat ironic that people will always make that point when discussing a player like Smith, but yet when discussing Aikman, Irvin or the O line as one of the best ever to play they game at their respective postions, everyone scoffs at the idea).

But agian, he had talent around him but this guy was clutch, money, a lightning rod to fire up the team and indestructible. I watched him take the most punishing hits, give punishing hits in pass protection, catch the ball out of the backfield and run 13 yards for a 1st down in the 1992 NFC championship game. He did it with no help at all. Simple point, if you needed a big play, he delivered. He didn't fumble, take losses often, wasn't a selfish player and he was a consumate professional on and off the field.

In my opinion, he was the greatest Cowboy of all time AND he played the position of RB better than anyone else in the game.

Are clearly the top 3. Any other names would be retarded. The 4th is really hard though.

With the exception of Rowdy, this is an excellent list. Particularly noteworthy are the inclusions of Crazy Ray and Kelli McGonagill.

I have only two additions, both players-- Harvey Martin and Drew Pearson.

My choices would be Schram, Landry, Lilly, and Roger.
