We own the #2 pick

Teddy Bridgewater goes #1

Who do we pick?

Yes, Clowney is a once in a lifetime prospect, but franchise QB > Clowney

Clowney. Fales lack of anticipation and arm strength to compensate worries me.

Fales isn't worthy of the number 2 pick.
Clowney.

What

He waits until he sees the WRs open generally. That was my initial thought.

I don't care if we have the 1st overall - the 10th pick.

If Clowney is there when we pick.....

WE TAKE HIM (PERIOD)

Clowney #2

with Derek Carr, or Stephen Morris in the 2nd

or Trade up for Braxton Miller if he comes out.

That would be such a Jaguars scenario to have happen.

But it really wouldn't be that bad...Clowney looks like a pretty special prospect. It would take a pretty spectacular season for one of the other QBs to rise enough that it would even be conceivable that we pass on Clowney for a QB who isn't Teddy.

If there is a QB that Caldwell is willing too tie his job and reputation too then you take the QB.

Cant you say the same thing about an elite-caliber DE?

If you can say that about the QB, it doesn't really matter what you say about the DE.

Do you pass on a once in a generation DE for a QB that might not be as sure-fire? I feel like bc our coach is defensive minded he wouldnt be able to resist him

If you think a QB is a franchise changing guy then yes. Absolutely.
