this one made me scratch my head more than the Frederick pick tbh

I liked the choice just not the trade up.

I mean..They had 14 (13?) picks, it's not like they were on a budget.

Trade them for future picks, no need for a trade up for Reid.

Obviously they felt they did need to trade up.

he was the #1 safety on their draft board and they rated him higher than kenny vacarro.

With the success this organization has had in the draft I trust everything they do.

Please do.

I liked the move to be honest, just seemed like another solid 49er move.

agreed, plus if they stayed at 31, they could have gotten multiple 2nd/3rd rounders by trading up too

You can't have too many picks. Instead of trading up they could have gone down then picked several safeties to compete. I would rather have Swearinger, Dduke and Bacarri over just Reid which the 49ers could have done while still addressing every other need.

Yeah, like a few people have echoed, I'll take San Francisco's front office's advice over you guys who probably base your rankings off of what Mayock and Kiper predict. Laughing

If anything Dallas didn't get enough. You should get way more than a third round pick to move down thirteen spots in the first round.

Depending on which board you go by. Going by the one Dallas uses, they got fair value.

It's our opinion, on a football forum.
And I am glad I know who you would choose, I was worried.

Unless you plan on creating some sort of medical experiment, 3 good players for 1 position does not outweigh 1 great one. In your mind, you might not believe in Reid, hence you think they should have gonr mass at the position with quantity and hope one surpasses expectations, but the 49ers went with quality, which they believe is Reid, and why they made sure to get him.
