Props to ensman13 for posting this. We're not sure what happened to his post, though. He either deleted it himself, or bulldog used his utility belt before completing his training.

Either way, here's the article:

Dude is a good writer. Sarcastic as hell. And it does provide some insight into not only the Browns' war room, but also the paranoia that runs rampant in the NFL.

Good stuff.

Later that afternoon, an even crazier hypothetical spontaneously emerges: The Browns consider trading tonight's no. 6 pick to a marquee franchise, in exchange for a second-round pick tomorrow, a first-round pick in 2014, another first-round pick in 2015, and two other future selections. This would mean Chudzinski would start his coaching career with a 5-11 team that doesn

Wonder what team that was

I just heard that the team was San Francisco. This is hard for me to believe and quite frankly, I do not want to believe.

Surely I didn't delete it, but who knows. There are a lot shiny new buttons.

(I think this is part of the hazing process. Delete threads and blame it on the new guy)

People with a disagreeable pre-disposition will continually despise such things.

Was really impressed how he managed to salvage an article out of 3 days of guys telling him "this is off the record". You can almost see him seething with frustration as he was writing it, wishing he could share all he heard but knowing that he would just have to fill a few pages prancing around it. Really enjoyable read for an article that doesn't really say anything.

I would love to sit in on a fascinatingly over my head conversation between the "Freakenomics" kid mentioned in the article and MTBL. I wouldn't understand most of it, but I'd feel smarter.

I would have made that trade. In a heartbeat.

And taken Jamie Collins in the second.

I'm actually upset if this is true. That's a ton of picks.

Heckert? I miss the way he played coy. I miss his scent. I even miss how he snored at night.

Man.....the offseason is rough.

If Tom Heckert had taken Julio Jones instead of trading down, they probably would have made the trade.

Likely, the only reason the move wasn't made.

this.

the most interesting tidbit imo was the mention of the cafeteria being terrible pre-Haslem. how the hell do you pay athletes millions of dollars to play for the Browns then feed them crap? one would think there would be league-wide standards when it comes to nutrition.
