Stellar LB corp. I was sad to see Butler go. He gets very very undersold. Less big on your DL though. Smith is capable at everything, but not particularly noteworthy. Poe....we'll see.

Pretty stacked team Ryk. Although no one can run or pass against my defense. Best in the land. Offense, well that's another story

Thank ya. I was very, very surprised he was still available, likewise with Toler.

I was surprised to see Alfred Morris still there at my pick.

Runningbacks fell like mad, honestly. And Morris has the doubts with the whole zone blocking thing. I was surprised to see Foster go as high as he did, actually.

Running on your defense would be tough as hell, I'll admit. Running to whatever side Watt ISN'T on is really the only option for opposing offenses to move the ball on the ground. I gotta say, though, if someone has a good QB and a good slot WR, 2nd WR or TE (or all 3), I could see some teams moving the ball through the air against you. The keys will be whether their O-line can hold up against Watt and if their QB has a quick release and the ability to read the defense before the snap. I mean, your only established pass rush threat is Watt. Granted, he's unquestionably the best in the game as of right now, but Wilfork isn't exactly known for his pass rush and Jordan is a rookie.

With Brees, Vernon Davis, V-Jax, my elite O-line and a receiver like MJD out of the backfield, I like my chances against your defense when you compare it to my defensive matchup against your offense. Plus, Wilfork and Ed Reed probably won't play for much longer either, so I can't help but to question how long your secondary will hold up in the long term.

That said, Watt, P-Willy and Wilfork in any front 7 is a pretty scary thought.

Then again, so is Revis, PP, Weddle and Brown in the secondary. Wink

I'm really curious as to how the Madden simulation will play out.

...so out of curiosity, who does everyone think has the best team so far? I'm sure everyone will consider several categories like youth (longevity), ability to contend immediately and the most COMPLETE team overall. What does everyone think so far? Who's won the draft at this point?

Crap I forgot about the roster thread, I'll post mine later.

As far as best so far.

I like Jakuvious and JBurg's teams so far. Really it's close between alot of teams though, we'll see who fills their weaknesses the best.

I think Jakuvius has a solid mix throughout his whole lineup but some teams are really strong in some aspects.
