dont you mean anthony henry. travis is the rb. and if he was signed im not real opptomistic. 10 ints his first yr. to 7 the last three. parcells must see something in him or your looking at another bryant westbrook.

Anthony Henry? really? sounds like the cheaped out on a CB again, unless they plan on signing 2 possible starters

These signings are a positive sign that Dallas will not sit idle in free agency like last season. The coming days will only bring more reliable and experienced veterans to Dallas.

To have Drew Bledsoe, Ferguson, and possibly Henry in the fold this early is a great way to start. More guys like Green Bay's Darren Sharper will be released later this month setting the stage for Dallas to really get some good veteran leadership on this team.

It also helps the draft situation as Dallas now can key in on who they really want instead of who they really need. As long as they fill their "needs" with free agents, their "wants" will be filled thru the draft.

Things are looking up!!

I was hoping for a bigger impact corner than henry and hopefully we'll pick up another one but, here's my question....
Why cant we stay in the 4-3 with
Ellis-Glover-Ferguson-Tuck(or another Rook)????

IRVING - Free agency began at 12:01 a.m. today. Don't be surprised if the Cowboys did, too.

In fact, don't be surprised if right now, while you are eating your Wheaties and reading this sentence, they are finalizing the details of deals to make defensive tackle Jason Ferguson and cornerback Anthony Henry Cowboys. They could be introduced as early as today.

Unlike last season, when they were about as active as Anna Nicole Smith's library card, the Cowboys are going into free agency with checkbooks blazing.

They have more than $15 million in available salary-cap space and players they believe are worth spending it on.

"You can't go out and pay Rolls-Royce dollars and end up with a '70 Chevy," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. "The players that are out there this year are at an age and stage of their careers where it could be appealing to us to make a big commitment."

Let the spending begin.

I went to the link you provided and other sites as well and I have seen nothing to verify that these signings are "OFFICIAL"..... can anyone give any validity to these two players being dallas cowboys? maybe i missed it........
