Harbaugh was his coach for two years when they were with the raiders.

Nice, hope he can help our Wr's.

I find this to be a nice hire for a couple of reasons. I will preface this by saying I like Curry as a player. He was very athletic and talented.

Reason 1 is that he can definitely help with the WR's on this team

Reason 2 which many forget is that he transitioned from a QB to a WR and the Niners use a lot of players in different positions/looks in formations. People like Tukuafu, Bruce Miller come to mind as guys who would have benefitted from the mental toughness it takes to understand the different roles and assignments, but really just the idea of a position change coming out of college. Curry can definitely help there as well

The thing I like is that we seem to have all sorts of personalities on the coaching staff. Sometimes, a player will not necessarily relate well to one coach, but will do so with another coach. Anything that helps connecting players to the coaching staff helps the team.

Jim Harbaugh, if he keeps going with his success and his coach hires, is going to have one huge coaching tree, one day.
