Quote:
Former East Central University All Conference defensive end Armonty Bryant, recently drafted in the seventh round by the Cleveland Browns, is in trouble with the law again as of the early-morning hours Friday.

Having apparently survived his first brush with the law last year, when he was arrested for selling marijuana to an undercover police officer, Bryant had managed to find employment with Cleveland.
Whether his latest brush with the law will affect his athletic future remains to be seen. Getting to Ohio with a driverís license may be another matter. Bryant appeared to be worried about it, according to the police report.

Bryant was arrested for driving under the influence with refusal. The term means a suspect refused to blow properly into an Intoxylizer. Deficient reading showed Bryant with readings of 0.10 and 0.09. The legal minimum for intoxication is 0.08.

Que the people who freak out about wasting a "draft pick" on this guy and bring up our "bad" draft.

Hate to say I told you so, but I kind of did.

Anyone dumb enough to sell weed at practice clearly has no respect for his team or teammates.

It was only a 7th round pick so we didn't really lose much, but why take a flier on such a high risk player when you can take a flier on someone who actually might had a chance to surprise and be an NFL player.

Shortest career ever. Really though, better it happens now before he takes meaningful reps away from someone else only to have him inevitably get cut for something stupid later in the year.

I guess it isnt very easy to find a high character guy in the 7th round that actually has talent. But this guy's brain doesn't see to give him more than a 1 in a million chance of ever making it in the league even if he had a lot of talent.

yes it was a bad pick, but so are 98% of other 7th rounders.

Guy is a tard. His mugshot didnt live up to the other Bryant though

.

Dez Bryant's mugshot, while hilarious, has an innocence to it. Not that he was innocent, but just unaware of what was going on.

The best part about Armonty's mugshot: It looks like he's practiced the mug shot a million times. His mugshot screams, "I ain't afraid of no law!" Sad. It's a photo that seems to show acceptance that this is the kind of life he is living, and also ok with it. Good job nailing down the hardened criminal look in your mugshot, Armonty. Your parents must be so proud!

Bonehead move, for sure, but why does .09 to .10 mean he's finished?

Hell, that's just a little more than one strong beer!

I say we keep him if he has as much talent as advertised.

When I said I was amazed at how mismanaged the 3rd day of the draft was, I didn't expect to be proven right so soon.

Good thing this happened before he actually became a member of the Browns by signing a contract.

Hopefully the franchise will be able to recover from this setback in 2-3 years. Rolling Eyes

Dude was a longshot to make the team to begin with, as are most 7th rounders.
