I wouldn't worry about JDLefebvre. You know that [inappropriate/removed] heckle at how fans cheer, how they dress up, and things like that at any sporting event? That's him.

I agree with you, keth. I'd like to see somesignings to go toward players that will help us, even with depth. At least the Moorman signing made sense.

does he get paid? yes.
Do we pay him money that counts against the cap? Yes.
Do we have a tight cap budget? Yes.
Does money spent on him preclude possibly spending that money on somebody else who doesn't suck horribly? Yes.

If he doesn't make it out of camp does he get paid? IDK...it's my understanding that they get paid for games. I doubt he has any guaranteed money.

Show me what he is getting paid first.

But hey Keth... you should be excited. Gives you something to complain about!!! Laughing

Ever since nfl draft, you have been heckling toward us by how we react. Its become more clear and clear what's your intention is but man, take it easy.

My intention. Hmm. I have no intention. I disagree with such sky is falling, the world is ending beliefs. Others want to act like that so I can't differ in my opinion? Or say how ridiculous it is?

And what do my disagreements with peoples posts have to do with how I feel about how people dress at sporting events??? WTF?

Answer me this... have I once called another member a jackass??? Hmm

That'd be one and it probably won't be last time I would be calling somebody a [inappropriate/removed]. But first...

We ALL have knee-jerk reactions, but most of the time we have valid reasons to react in such fashion. Heck this is a public, mainstreamed message board which mean we are entitled to our own opinionated reaction. So do you. But as a moderator, apparently its bothering you so I'm asking you, sir... do you want to be a moderator or not? You sure act the otherwise.

Well one of those breaks forum rules... one does not.

I am sorry you mind me expressing my disagreement for your knee jerk reactions.

You are welcome to all and every one of your reactions, and I will feel free to voice mine without stooping to name calling.

adding terrible players is never a good move, unless he's simply a turnstile for Jarvis Jones to cut his teeth on.

He isn't playing for free, that's for sure. It frightens me with several of the offensive linemen moves we've made in the past that we are bringing him in to actually be a football player rather than a camp body.

This isn't a private line, so if you have a issue with someone that isn't sports related, please PM that individual.

Probably just 1 year veteran minimum.

We don't have any cap room to sign him for much more than that, and I doubt we sign a backup o-lineman to a mulityear contract.

so saying that Guy Whimper is a terrible player means the sky is falling?

Ok.

Before this signing the backup OT was......Beachum. Unless Gilbert pulls a Gilbert we won't have to worry about it. More proof that the team is sold on Adams/Gilbert.

Yea but can Beachum play LT? I always looked at Beachum as more of a RT/G.

i think we signed Whimper because he can play LT and RT and have him as a swingman T. Instead of having to move the RT to LT and plug in Beachum at RT if the LT goes down.

That was the point of my post. Beachum as the primary backup requires a signing. Preferably a player better than Guy however.

standing in the LT position and gettign annihilated doesn't equate to "can play LT". not harping on you, but this is the same BS reason we kept Trai Essex around for so long.

"he is versatile"

being pure garbage at multiple positions doesn't make you versatile, it makes you pure garbage.
