We did a very good job of upgrading our DT talent pool this year in the draft, to the point we may not have to worry about it outside of adding roster depth for the next few years. With that being said, we still have needs in several key positions. Below are those positions and prospects to keep an eye on for the 2014 college football season.

These are not ranking by any means, merely just a numerical list of guys to keep an eye out for.

Offensive Tackle

1. Taylor Lewan - Michigan
2. Cyrus Kouandjio - Alabama
3. Jake Matthews - Texas A&M
4. Antonio Richardson - Tennessee
5. David Yankey - Stanford
6. Chaz Green - Florida

Wide Receiver

1. Marquise Lee - USC
2. Sammy Watkins - Clemson
3. Jordan Matthews - Vanderbilt
4. Mike Evans - Texas A&M
5. Brandon Coleman - Rutgers
6. Cody Hoffman - BYU

Cornerback

1. Bradley Roby - Ohio State
2. Ifo Ekpre-Olomu - Oregon
3. Loucheiz Purifoy - Florida
4. Deshazor Everett - Texas A&M
5. Jason Verrett - Texas Christian
6. Aaron Colvit - Oklahoma

Safety

1. Ed Reynolds - Stanford
2. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix - Alabama
3. LaMarcus Joyner - Florida State
4. Vinny Sunseri - Alabama
5. Craig Loston - LSU
6. Ty Zimmerman - Kansas State

Watkins and Lee are legit game changers. If we added one of these wrs with our first round pick next year, our offense would dramatically change.

Ideally I want a LT, resign Gross slide him to RT. That ideally what I want. After that, if no LTs left, then a WR.

I really hope people aren't actually going to oppose Lee just because he plays for USC.

Are there are FA's at these positions that could fill the need as well?

I'm sure there is, but this is to mainly look at college prospects.

Why no list of DTs in the thread? Because we know that's what Gettleman will draft anyway.

Just how long do you plan on crying about this draft before a single person has even taken a snap?

And to the question at hand, I think WR or DE is going to be our first pick depending on what happens with the Kraken.

Hey, if Gettleman drafted the Irish Chocolate, I wouldn't complain.

1. Marquise Lee - USC
2. Sammy Watkins - Clemson

We need one of these next year.

Seriously. Lee is nothing like the WR's of past USC teams that were all 6-4 possession receivers.

Dude's barely six feet and a burner. He's more DeSean Jackson than Dwayne Jarrett.
