Former Giants second-round pick Clint Sintim announced on his Facebook page he's retired. Knee injuries did him in.

He was the Giants 2nd round pick in the 2009 draft but only started 1 game, he played a total of 24.

In order to retire, wouldn't you have to have done something in your field first?

I was excited about him as a prospect. We brought him in when Osi and Tuck were at the top of their game. I thought adding an outside linebacker that can add to the passrush would be huge. But alas, it didn't work out. Even before his knee gave out, he didn't really show much promise. I hope he saved whatever cash he earned.
