So the Packers have gone 43 straight regular season games now without having a 100 yard rusher. The last 100-yard game from a Packers RB came in the Washington Redskins overtime loss on October 10th 2010, when Brandon Jackson hit 115 yards.

Now that the Packers have a new stable of running backs and have said they will re-vamp their approach to the running game, I figure a contest could be fun.

Predict:
1. Which Packers RB will rush for 100 yards?
2. When will he do it?
3. How many yards will he have?

Winner gets bragging rights. Predictions will be locked in at the start of the regular season.

My guess is week 2 against the Redskins, Eddie Lacy will rush for 126 yards.

No Packer RB will run for 100 yards this season.

(I hope I'm wrong)

I could easily see this. Lacy, Franklin, and whoever wins the 3rd spot (I give it a 50/50 battle between Green and Harris) will all have a role and get looks in certain packages and situations. I could even see 200+ yards as a team with no 100 yard RB pretty easily. Even Cobb might get a couple of carries.

That was going to be my answer. I think in order for any back to get to 100 the way we have been playing, he would need to break a 60-70 yard run.

So I'll say DuJuan Harris, week 15, 105 yards.

I think there are about 7 people on the 49ers defense who can catch Lacy from behind. I don't see him breaking the 43 yarder.
