From Total Access: Abraham's visit to #Titans is to kick his tires, see what's left. Don't be surprised if they do same with Dwight Freeney

Pats might not even need him, we have so many young DEs already. Abraham is just going to cut into their playing time. Not that I don't still want him but I would be okay if he signs with the Titans instead.

Abraham signing with the Titans would be great. Instantly improves depth at DE. Morgan, Wimbley, Abraham, and the rookie Lavar Edwards should make for a nice unit.

Very patriots like move to make. I think Abraham has at least one good year left and maybe a second productive year left. Given the discounted rate that pass rushers are having to sign this offseason, my guess is that this will be a very good deal for new england.

We're certainly going to give it a shot. Laughing

This comes right after we cleared a little more cap room by releasing Lavelle Hawkins and we still have a pretty decent sized need for a third defensive end. Obviously if the money is the same, he'll probably choose NE, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Titans got a deal done.

I'd rather have Idonije, but I'll gladly take Abraham.

If Abraham wants to contend for a super bowl, he should sign with the Pats. If he wants money, the Titans are probably a better fit.

Abraham should take the potential ring since the Titans arent getting anywhere near one next yr.

Logically.. yes..

But, his financial situation may say something different...

And.. the amount of playing time...

Money, playing time and proximity to home would all seem to favor Tennessee.

Obviously if his only focus is winning though (which is pretty rare to be honest), New England would be the choice.

Falcons can quit playing around and just bring Abe back home now where he wants to be Very Happy Gives him that chance to get a ring next year and i would hope we can find him some money somewhere.

At his age, it will come down to money and winning IMO. I think he would settle for a bit less to play for the Pats, but not ALOT less. He only has a limited amount of time left so I am sure he wants to make some more bank.
