So after re-amping our secondary, what do you guys think are the biggest weakspots on our team? In order to me its:

2)Linebackers-We have no starter at the SAM spot, on top of that Foster has been inured before and we have no depth
3)D-line-We have Bowers and Clayborne coming back, but both have been on the IR list before...as well as McCoy. If no one gets hurt this will be a strength instead of a weakness...big IF

EDIT: QB is #1

Defensive end.

I wouldn't say our defensive line seeing as we have McCoy who is one of the best interior linemen in the league. I think we may have also found a gem in Spence.

Clayborn and Bowers both have a ton of talent to go along with a ton of questions. Can Clayborn bounce back after his injury and a slow start to the 2012 season? Bowers has shown flashes of what he can do against both the pass and run but can his body hold up for sixteen games? Depth is also an issue as well as speed.

We just added Gholston and Means on top of Clayborn, Bowers and Te'o-Nesheim. I think we should be OK at DE.

I think DT is more of an issue.

Realistically QB is our biggest concern now. Does Freeman play well, and does he do it for a whole season?

Is speed really a problem or is more burst?

Jackson is a 4.4 guy

Doug Martin ran in the mid 4.4's

Mike Williams is a low 4.5 guy

We can get deep pretty easy on a defense and Doug showed if he has a crease he can bust it from anywhere.

I think we lack a Tavon Austin type player. Someone that can juke and make people miss with ease in the open field.

We have plenty of speed...plus speed on offense is not really that big of a need...just ask New England

This is 2013... Plus remember Jenkins was able to come across the field to tackle Jackson and Jenkins runs a 4.53 40

Jackson was also dealing with a leg injury that week also.

Not saying he still is but if I remember correctly VJ was also coming back from a sore ankle or knee that week.

I think overall we have addressed weaknesses as depth. Sure lb could have been upgraded but obviously dline and secondary was more important. Offensively we are fine.

It's all on freeman. No more excuses. Put up or shut up.

Pass rush might be a question, hopefully our guys stay healthy. People might say third LB but your nickleback is on the field more than your third LB, plus we have nice depth and performed well in that area when Black got injured. I think someone at either TE or 3rd WR will need to step up this season, we could upgrade there eventually.

We might have areas we need to improve, but overall we have a nice roster if our guys are healthy. Overall, we need consistency with Freeman.

I like our team going into this season.

Dude was clearly hurt, running like someone shot him in the hammy!

He is mentally and physically in better shape now then when he was 22 years old. He is always one of the top ypc guys in the league. Runs like a deer and he is shredded. No doubt in my mind that he can't still put up a mid 4.4
