The SHERMANATOR!!

Haha in AZ one of the announcers loves this guy and always plays his highlights on gameday. Dude is pretty good blocker from what I've seen.

The way I saw it was he was our 4th CB, making over 1 Mil. With our top 3 CB'S being virtually uncuttable this year and next Arenas looked like the odd man out. We couldn't really resign him and Brown is decent enough to fill that 4th CB. Looks like its up to Menzie, Thorpe, or possibly CJ Jones to fill that 5th CB/gunner role.

Puts us around 2-3 Mil more to get rid of before we're fine cap wise this year.

My votes are releasing Moeaki (if knee is a problem) and T. Copper. Doubt we really do resign Albert, but thats an option.

I vote we wait a year to extend A. Smith because our cap next year is shaky at best, that low salary next year would help more.

Succup is another option, it's a shame he is making that much money for being a decent kicker. He's good enough, but not 2.4 mil worth.

It would be incredibly stupid to release moeaki. We need him. We MAY actually have a couple of threats at the TE position for once if he's healthy and the rook pans out.

Thats what I'm saying. If that knee scope was a checkup than fine, but if he's still having problems thats 1 Mil on the cap that isnt likely to play at 100%. Fasano is basically here for 3 years and obviously the staff likes Kelce. Yet again thats 1 mil that likely wont be resigned next year, why keep him around if he's not healthy.

I think this whole we have a big plan spill was A load of B.S. Just like everything else they have fed us over the last several years. We have a manager who is a draft genius and we let the coaches make the decisions? Like not taking Joeckel? We didn't trade Albert either, some plan. Just trying to coax us into buying tickets this summer. I am starting to think Clark boy is as bad as Al Davis. What a joke!

You got this from trading our 4th CB to create more cap room and taking the LT with more upside?? And a 3rd rounder for Albert is a joke, I'd be pissed if we accepted that deal!

This is my take,

We took the opportunity that was presented to us.

I will miss Javi too, great person and player. Was one of the better nickel corner I seen in my short life, which has played for the Chiefs. But he was a Pioli guy, he had one more year on this contract, was not the profile of DB that Reid & Dorsey are looking for. Thatís all.

Look at the DB we have on the roster and the FA signings this year. They are big fiscal, thought men.

And like you all have been saying, we play Denver twice a year with Manning, Welker, Decker, Thomas, Tamme, Dreessen. So that is way we are molding the Secondary as we are.

Know on Sherman.

Loved Sherman coming out off collage, he is a stout, strong, well built guy. A leader, was 2 or 3 time captain in collage and in Arizona. Both on special teams. He is a 4 core specialist.

He is very strong on the point of attack, likes contact, can line up as an HB/TE if needed, has above average hands, good foot for his build, but stiff in the hips some times.

Winner always dictate tendencies on the NFL.

For example, the Harbaugh brothers. Both teams run a variation of the WCO, with their twist to it.

Their team are somewhat build the same way. With some differences of course.

But in general, both have solid run games, to were down the d-line so they can seat up the pass.

Look at the 49ers:

Fullbacks:

Bruce Miller
Will Tukuafu FB/DE

Running Back:

Frank Gore

Baltimore Ravens

Fullbacks:

Vonta Leach

Kyle Juszczyk FB/TE Arrow 4th rounder this year and Andy was really into the kid, heard him twice say so in two different places.

Running Back:

27 Ray Rice

Also having fullbacks that play a lot of snaps in a game, can free up the TE like a Moeaki, Fassano, and Kelce in the passing game.

Thoughts Question

I love that as fans, some of us think we're better at the jobs these guys get paid extremely well to do than they are.

Oh you traded our 4th corner...this regimeare stupid. Oh youdidn't draft the guy I liked so the pick was wasted...

I question stuff, or call things head searchers...but some of us need to take a breath, and relax.

We traded a guy buried on our depth chart who didn't want to be here, got something out of him rather than just cutting him.

Main question being if he is healthy, and if he can outperform at least one of the following: Fasano, Kelce, Brock. We'll see. I would not be surprised to see Moeaki cut before the Chiefs get down to 53.
