This entire rumor that BLEW UP yesterday was started by someone I follow on Twitter. Laughing his butt off as reporter after reporter retweeted his fake 'breaking news'. The state of journalism today is just sad.

Drew Rosenhaus added fuel to the rumor by saying Miami was a possible landing spot for Tebow on Miami sports radio.

That plan already seems in the works. After the Patriots traded for Tebow, Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com, citing a source, reported that New England’s plan is for Tebow to “study a great deal at tight end.

Should be interesting to watch. If ever there was a place he could succeed at the new position it would be in NE, especially now. I wish it was happening in another division, because I like Tebow the person and want to see him succeed, but I can't root for him to do well when he is on the Pats.

My guess is in his first year he will whiff on a good share of blocks, but when he does connect he should do decent. I personally don't think blocking is all that hard. It's more of a mindset than anything. Technique shouldn't really be that hard to learn quickly. I was actually a great blocker in college even though I was only 170lbs RB. I maybe allowed a couple of sacks in my whole career, and one was because the guy just timed his blitz and got to the QB before the QB could take enough steps for me to cut him off. The other I still think the QB did a poor job setting up my block and should have easily been able to step up in the pocket. I was stepping in front of 250lbs linebackers and taking them out of the play.

I think it's a mindset, and not everybody has that killer instinct and never fail attitude. You have to see your guy sacking the QB like you just let someone jump in front of you and punch your girl in the face! The rest is just mechanics that I think could be learned. At least he doesn't have any bad habits to break. He will be a clean slate and hopefully mold-able.

Speaking of blocking though, that Sims guy from Michigan State we grabbed is one of the best I have ever seen coming out of college. He is a beast!! We will see how he does weighing less and going against better competition.

When I watched Sims's tape, he really did look like an extra tackle a lot of times.
