I'll be pretty surprised if Dee Ford doesn't go in the first round

said to have back and shoulder issues - some are saying his floor is the early 3rd round if it doesn't check out.

I don't even think it's "said to" with Dee Ford. He's had issues in the past and missed the combine due to the back stuff. It's pretty well documented at this point...just how severe they are really, is it not?

Add that to the fact that he's kind of a niche fit for some teams as an undersized 4-3DE, or an OLB conversion who hasn't necessarily demonstrated a ton of LB skills...2nd round wouldn't shock me.

Tbh, I dont think we even need the pick next year to be fair. I think 10, 45 and maybe a 4th next year would be fine with me

Maybe, although if the league all feels similarly about there being 4 elite players in this draft then JAX might just be able to get a lot in return in a move out of the top 4 with a team wanting in to the top 4 for one of those elite players.

-Derek Carr at #6 is a bad pick. He is just not worth it. There are at least 2 if not 3 better QBs in this draft.
-I am not entirely sure 2nd round is the place to be going WR in this super deep WR class.
-Martin might be there in the 3rd, although I sense he is the first C off the board if it is by a team not running a ZBS.
-Borland in the 5ht round? Is he going to make it to the 3rd day of the draft?

I'm seeing some obvious Fresno bias there. Hate Carr that high and I'd rather have a WR like Jordan Matthews there if he is

I don't really like...any of this tbh.

Attaochu i still really like i guess, though there are still some concerns about his willingness to play LEO (i still think that's a bit of a sensationalist non-issue, but for our staff, it may not be). Ka'Deem Carey is good there too. But other than that i really don't like any of the other guys.

I present 4 scenarios that in theory could play out over the course of the 3 days of the draft. Each one is going to play out according to how I believe the NFL teams may in fact be valuing players. As a result, none of the following scenarios will have Teddy as the pick at #3 because I am just not sure any team is sold on him that high.
Scenario A
(3) Sammy Watkins WR Clemson
**TRADE:(39) & (70) to KC for (23)
(23) Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville
(105) James Gayle LEO Virginia Tech
(114) Jordan Tripp OLB Montana
(144) Michael Schofield T/G Michigan
(150) David Fales QB San Jose State
(159) Russell Bodine C/G UNC
(179) Dontae Johnson CB N.C. State
(205) Zack Kerr DT Deleware
(222) Antonio Andrews RB Western Kentucky
----------------------------------------------------------
Scenario B
(3) Khalil Mack LEO/SAM Buffalo
(39) Jordan Matthews WR Vanderbilt
(70) Zack Mettenberger QB LSU
(105) Travis Swanson C Arkansas
(114) Justin Ellis DT Louisiana Tech
(144) Storm Johnson RB UCF
(150) Ed Stinson DE Alabama
(159) Anthony Steen G Alabama
(179) Xavier Grimble TE USC
(205) Matt Patchan T Boston College
(222) Connor Shaw QB South Carolina
----------------------------------------------------------
Scenario C
TRADE: (3) traded for (6) & (37)
(6) Mike Evans WR Texas A&M
(37) Jimmy Garoppolo QB Eastern Illinois
(39) Marcus Martin C USC
(70) Keith McGill CB Utah
(105) Arthur Lynch TE Georgia
(114) Jerrick McKinnon RB Georgia Southern
(144) Laurent Duvernay-Tardiff T McGill
(150) George Uko DE/DT USC
(159) Howard Jones LEO/SAM Shepherd
(179) Keith Wenning QB Ball State
(205) Kevin Pierre-Louis OLB Boston College
(222) Kadeem Edwards G Tennesee State
----------------------------------------------------------
Scenario D
TRADE: (3) & (179) traded for (10) & (45) & (111)
(10) Blake Bortles QB UCF
(39) Weston Richburg C Colorado State
(45) Demarcus Lawrence LEO Boise State
(70) Trai Turner G LSU
(105) Telvin Smith OLB Florida State
(111) Brandon Coleman WR Rutgers
(114) Caraun Reid DT Princeton
(144) Crockett Gillmore TE Colorado State
(150) Ross Cockrell CB Duke
(159) Tyler Gaffney RB Stanford
(205) Matt Hazel WR Coastal Carolina
(222) Ryan Carrethers DT Arkansas State

If you could somehow switch Teddy for Carr and we pulled that off, I'd go ballistic
