Round 7 Pick 7: Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma (C-)

I will be a little surprised to see Ford there at 2.7, Coleman at 5.10, Carrethers at 6.3 and maybe even Colvin at 7.7.

Colvin's injury would force him lower than normal, but a 7th would still be a steal. Getting Teddy and Ford would require a miracle

Spot on my man!! Colvin in my mind is a 3rd or early 4th round cornerback without the injury. I doubt he slips past the middle of round 6, and even there he could really be a steal!

I think teams are willing to roll the dice on guys that had serious injuries like the 49ers did with Tank Carradine in Round 2

Mock 1 looks good. If we dont take a QB round 1 then I pretty much dont want one til about Round 5. Like JC, Pryor, Swanson, Sankey and Smith and even McCullers for his shear size/power, just needs technique

Mock 2 looks better just because of Teddy. I'm not crazy about Mosley but thats mostly because people see him going Top-20. Richburg would be a huge additions for us. Happy to get Lawrence, Moncrief, Williams, Gilmore and Fales too

Mock 3 I'm not crazy about. Clowney is great and Lee would be good there despite him not having the size we need being just 6'. Richardson isnt a great fit. Fine with Seatrunk and most of the other late rounders that i know

C'MON MAN, ALEX MACK IS GOING TO MAKE A CENTER SO EARLY USELESS!!! Seriously though, I am not a huge fan of Richburg that high but I am also really highest on him as a rookie C who would fit this scheme, so I guess I would not be really upset if he was the pick because Cleveland matches the contract for Mack.

I don't really see many scenarios where Richburg makes it out of the 2nd round at this point. Too many teams need good centers, and there aren't a huge number of guys that good/ready to start. Ideally we'd be able to move back a few spots and snag an extra pick or something before grabbing Richburg, but if you get a Brad Meester replacement who locks down the middle of your O-Line for a decade...that's a pick well spent. But if we want him, it's probably gonna have to be in the 2nd round one way or another.

I like that draft a ton also. Except for Connor Shaw, and maybe Fulton. Razz Like pretty much all those players, and good value across the board.

Getting Marcus Smith in the 3rd round would be insane value. I'm not even convinced he'll still be there for our 2nd round pick at this point. He seems like the kind of athletic pass rush prospect that teams will gamble on way earlier than expected. But if we did get him in the 3rd that would make me quite happy.

Suppose the Teddy ends up in a free fall and the Jaguars end up with Alex Mack. The following mock draft would be pretty solid if you ask me.

3 -- Khalil Mack LEO/SAM Buffalo
**Trade 39, 70 and 159 for 19
19 -- Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville
105 -- Christian Kirksey OLB Iowa
114 -- Kevin Norwood WR Alabama
144 -- Walt Aikens CB Liberty
150 -- Xavier Grimble TE USC
179 -- John Urschel G/C Penn State
205 -- Dontae Johnson FS/CB N.C. State
222 -- Lorenzo Talafiero RB Coastal Carolina
