This.

For all the fan frustration and the temptation to pile on, dude needs support. Team's gotta step up, can't count on the fans for it.

what did he do to get suspended?? was it from the DUI he got last year?
No. Your first offense puts you in the NFL's substance abuse program, but you aren't fined, suspended and the info isn't released.

So either the DUI put him in the program (my guess) or he's failed two drug tests in the last year. Either way, this was a second offense.

Next offense, he's suspended for a year.

Oh! By the way, remember when he promised to stop drinking? Yeah, he was drinking at a barbecue this past weekend.

He needs help. Because he's going to ruin his career, and possibly his life.

So he got suspended for drinking a couple beers at a family barbecue?

If he didnt drive or anything, that doesn't seem like a big deal at all.

Not sure it's true but, a friend said they saw him taking shots at a bar not too long ago.

He needs help, badly. There is no denying he has all the talent in the world but he is on the Kenny Britt path right now.

No he does not need to be cut but one more screw up and he is gone for the whole year. Yikes.

No, the NFL doesn't care if he drinks or not. He failed a drug test.

Can't fix stupid.

I'd be lying if I said I'm surprised.

I'd love it if he's moved or shown the door, but I won't kid myself.

Stepping aside from football for a moment (of course I'd love for him to turn it around for those reasons, as a fan - and yes, we are supposed to stick to football discussion on these forums, but I feel that I need to say this, just once), but what needs to be recognized that while it was dumb, he appears to be a guy with a substance abuse problem (I don't know if he smoked weed - he probably did, yes) and this is something we see with people we interact with everyday. I want him to turn things around for the same reason that I want those people to turn it around. Like Caldwell said, he's at a crossroad in both his career and his life.

We have 8 games that are winnable. Now, there's no way we win them all, but they are what they are. Blackmon will miss three of them. The tank is on...

Slight positive is that it'll allow us to get more touches to A&L in the first four games.

Anything less than four 100 + yards game from CSIII to open the season is unacceptable.

Cole Mckenzie.
He was good in D-II college, and therefore he'll be good with Jerry. LETS GO

I don't think he makes the roster, but I think he'll make the practice squad.

Yeah, I don't see him making it either. He might have a shot though. Especially if we're listing Denard as a RB
