TRUST Thompson. Someone I mentioned about an hour ago as a possible UDFA due to his numbers, but Thompson knows better than I.

Chicago are kid, reportedly had a meeting w/ GB leading up to draft. Former Illinois player transferred to ILL state. That's all I know.

So an OLB behind CM3. Good depth pick should be fun to watch in pre-season behind that nasty deep dline.

Love the pick. Had him rated at a 4th.

Ok, just kidding. But the Packers did meet with him before today.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

We take another small school guy who's a projected UDFA with Mike Buchanan and Chase Thomas still on the board if we're going depth at OLB? Hmm, not sure I like this pick.

Tony Jefferson is still on the board, too, could use that depth/competition for the other starting Safety spot. We could also fill that hole at WR, though I could see that happening in the next round, I suppose. Either Marquise Goodwin or Marcus Davis will suffice.

I didn't really pay close attention to him, but if he's the top rated OLB on their board, I like it. They literally had 4 OLBs on the roster, one of which was a PS guy they signed in December. They absolutely needed depth at OLB.

Is he inside or out? Doesn't matter, needs to bulk up to play on the strong side.

I might be the only one who watched him in person last year! EWU vs. Illinois State in the FCS quarterfinals.

7 tackles (4 solo), 1 TFL, 1 PD, 1 sack, 1 QB hurry

Obviously a TC body, he'll have to play well on ST's to make the team, but behind Clay, Perry, Moses, and B.Jones we don't have other OLB's.
