Even though the 2013 draft just ended, it's never too early to start thinking about next years class.

Feel free to list players that you have your eye on and hope end up in a Cowboys uniform next season.

Now that we're in a 4-3...hell yeah Laughing

Also have my eye on the following guys:

Teddy Bridgewater QB, Louisville
Bryn Renner QB, North Carolina
David Fales QB, San Jose State
Derek Carr QB, Fresno State

De'Anthony Thomas RB, Oregon

Taylor Lewan OT, Michigan
James Hurst OT, North Carolina
Antonio Richardson OT, Tennessee

Cyril Richardson OG, Baylor

Jadeveon Clowney DE, South Carolina (even though it's highly unlikely we'll be in a position to grab him)

Louis Nix III DT, Notre Dame
Anthony Johnson DT, LSU
Daniel McCullers DT, Tennessee (dude is 6'3 377 lbs, talk about a 1-tech)

C.J. Mosley OLB, Alabama (imagine a LB corps of Carter, Lee, Mosley)
Anthony Barr OLB, UCLA

Yup. Who I want as my #1. Gosh, imagine him learning from Ware. Very Happy

Oh. I will also take Carr for 300 please.

I want everyone to consider this. We either take Carr - or the next year I am going to pimp out the Gators QB so hard I will have all of you chomping before the season is over.

McCullers is 6'6, not 6'3. Massive nose tackle that always requires two blockers. He is huge.

Already working on a database that is currently comprised of 386 players and growing. Why? Because I am crazy. Crazy about the 2014 draft!

Ok bad joke...

Yeah, he is a monster. Watched him twice but didn't pay too much attention. Main thing that stuck out to me is leverage. When you are that big, especially on the nose, better interior linemen can get up under you and drive you back. So gotta watch out for that.

If we have the same number of injuries and play anything like we did last year, it's a virtual certainty. I'm not sure that many people know how often we were behind in our home games last year. Of our 8 home games, we had the lead for a grand total of 32 minutes. We will not have a winning record if that trend continues. It's impossible to do anything well when you're either tied or behind in nearly 94% of your home games.

Frankly, every first half was awful. I think we scored more than 14 points once in the first half last season.

The in-game corrections at half-time were superb, but boy it seemed like the game plan going in was lacking (along with really bad execution - our team starts REALLY cold).

I like Fales quite a bit too, but his lack of arm strength concerns me a little.

Timmy Jernigan is one to watch as well, considering we will probably need a 3-tech at some point. He looks like a stud. Watched his game vs. GT, and the only knocks on him were he got blown off the line on occasion, and he has poor snap anticipation. Always the last one off the ball. But his hands are like hammers and he uses them like he is trying to take someone's head off. Sheds blocks like its nobody's business.
