With Tim Tebow on the market...and he's an ideal QB for Chip's offense, what are the possibilities that he considers him for an option?

I only ask because 1) i want Vick gone. 2) imagine having Tebow as an option for Chip Kelly: The Offensive Guru, to work with.

What on earth from a QB position does Tebow bring to the 2013 Eagles? Please don't say Winner either! If Chip.had interest in a read option/running QB he would have never spent a 4th on Barkley. There is absolutely no spot for Tebow on the Eagles as a QB. In fact he will not find a single home in the NFL as a QB. If he wants to play QB it will be in the CFL like other cast offs to prove they can do it.

I'd say impossible because I'm hoping that's the case, but I have seen crazier things.

Tebow is flat out garbage. Bad players bring nothing to any team, no matter who the coach is.

Just No.

1. i hate tebow more than any other player in the NFL
2. he's a joke and cannot play football, at any position
3. he'd rather preach and spread his religious agenda to the media than win games.
4. his cult following are pathetic individuals who know nothing about football.
5. i would rather have mark sanchez
6. i would rather have rex grossman
7. i would rather have david carr
8. i would rather have curtis painter
9. i would rather have kevin kolb
10. i would rather have al davis as our coach and jerry jones as our owner.

if the eagles signed tebow, i would no longer bleed green. i would honestly convert to a steelers fan.

tebow is actually a really bad option qb, he likes to keep the ball too much. So no he's not any sort of fit in chips offense.

I think there's actually a good chance this happens.

1. What exactly is this mythical "Chip's offense"?

2. How on earth is Tebow an ideal fit?

As a QB? Based on what really? Tebow has already according to his agent turned down trades asking him to change posistion, hence the cut. Why?

We're the one place where there's a seemingly complete open competition. I feel like Chip, if anyone, would try to reach out to Tebow and "bring him in for the competition."

I'm not advocating it.
But when I close my eyes I can envision him being a part of competition in the offseason.

No way, I doubt the idea even grazed his head.

I think it's because of what we did with Vick. I didn't think we'd ever get Vick, or could ever imagine a situation where he'd be an Eagle, but here he is.

Tebow is bad though. If he can't beat out Sanchez, why would he be able to beat out Vick or Foles? Bringing Tebow in is nothing but a publicity scheme at this point.

Not at the QB position.and after drafting Barkley. Now if he was to change positions to somekind of H-back/TE (he supposedly refuses to do) then yes I could see Chip, Belicheck and others taking that chance while utilizing his versatility in certain packages. As a viable competitor to Vick, Foles, Barkley, Dixon and hell even Kinne, I just can't fathom.
