This would probably be my bet, except I think I would drop Kowalski and add Dunbar. Two rookies behind one injury prone vet AND no FB is just not enough ball carriers. Gotta be at least 4. If Lawrence beats out Dunbar for that 'type' of RB, then maybe Tanner stays as a quasi HB/FB type guy.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think only the top 51 salaries counting towards the salary cap. I think this will be a big factor in who makes the roster. So with my predictions I will list the persons cap hit figure. However, I will also list who does not make the roster and their cap savings.

Since we dont know the rookie contracts I am simply referring to a rookie pool that I have estimated at 4.8 million dollars due to us trading back in the first.

All cap figures came from sportrac.

Also in adding up the figures for each position, we can see where we are spending our money.

Dead money, not counting cuts I think the team will make totals $5,987584.00

Spencer signs a 6 year deal with 12 million signing bonus.

I don't really want to start another thread for this. But what does everyone expect our base Offense to be? Defense?

I think on Offense we will ACE Formations (12 Package).

On defense I expect it to be the 43 Under.

Bah. They did shoddy work. My list is much more comprehensive of players!

(although they do have nice information).

All jokes aside it really is for a pragmatic reason. Nothing against Frenchy. He has served us well. But he is the oldest member of our team now. I would much rather, given that Dan the Man and Chris Jones are both so young, to get a LS that can eat, practice, play together for a decade. I want them to be an established unit for a long time. In fact, I would rather address something that will be a need sometime in the foreseeable future rather than turn a blind eye to the fact that age catches up to us all. To cross a worry off my list for another 10 years would be swell. I think that would eventually make the unit as a whole better.

THAT has always been my position. But it's just more fun to joke about his heritage.

I can buy into your logic. It is quite sound. But I prefer the cross border banter and jabs!
