The draft is over. We've added several playmakers and poured alot of resources (finally) into the offensive side of the ball. What are your expectations for Sam Bradford and the offense this year?

I'm expecting Bradford to pull off a 4000+ yd, 25+ TD, and 12- INT season with a 90+ QB rating. One would expect him to pull off a better rating but seeing that he plays in the NFC West where defenses are always headhunting, 90+ is acceptable for improvement.

There are no excuses for Bradford this time now that he has weapons and playmakers all around him. Seeing that he managed to pull off an 82.6 rating with a patchwork O-line, a new offensive system, and subpar receivers; I have little to no worries of seeing improvement from him.

Hmm... so you are saying Sam Bradford is going to have 650 throw attempts? Seems like a lot.

Not really when you think about it. Say Bradford throws 35-40 times per game times 16, thats roughly 640 passes.. Hes not slinging it 50 times a game though. Fisher still loves to pound the rock.

No, that is a ton of pass attempts. That number would be difficult to reach unless we are consistently behind big in the second half.

From everything we have done this past season, are you saying you only want Bradford to throw it 20 times a game??? with Cook, Austin and Bailey this past season you just think we should get 3 yards a pop between Richardson, Pead, and Stacy?

For the number of completions just to those targets, not included in that number is any of the backs btw, that would be exactly 650 attemps. A 63% completion of 650 attemps gives you 410 completions which is what he's stated there just from the WR. Again not including backup TE, RB or any other WR we have on the roster. The thing you can look at those is his YPA for that yardage and attempts is a pathetic 6.65, a full yard lower than his low number his year. In reality you can drop his attempts by about 50, keep in mind he had I believe 550 attempts this past year. And thereby dropping his completions by around 33 and keep his completion % the same.

Again this is all just number theory but yeah those numbers of completions and attempts for Bradford seem high.

Personally I'd like a 65% completion a little over 4000 yards and 30+td 15 int.

There is one aspect of this discussion that hasn't really been mentioned yet, but it's weighing on my mind pretty heavy: the run game

This backfield is full of guys on their first or second year, and all are pretty much unproven. D-Rich has the most gametime reps out of all of them, but I'm still not sure he's a guy that can be an every down back. Pead has to do a 180 from last season if he's going to even register as reliable. As for the other guys, they haven't played a single NFL down yet. Also, there's still not fullback on the roster.... I'm not sure what Fisher has up his sleeve, but I hope it's something good.

I wouldn't be too worried about that: both Kendricks and Lutzenkirchen (if he makes the final roster) can play the H-back role and could be used primarily as blockers.

Kendricks would be an interesting experiment. I still have faith in him. Obviously he's not on Cook's level, but I still think he could be useful to the team. At FB he could create some mismatches, I'm just unsure of how well he would fare as a blocker going up against some of the DE's/DT's in the division.

I'm really not sure. I wouldn't be surprised if there is an adjustment period because of all the new pieces on offense but I expect them to pick it up the 2nd half of the season.
