Its going to be more difficult to get a good FA safety.

There is a dearth of good safeties in the league at the moment, so Ward and Byrd will both have high demand. Plus would they really want to come to us - we're not the perennial playoff team now, we are a bottom dweller.

Combined with that, with HaHa's suspension, it will make the safeties available slightly more sparse.

I would hope Chip could use his ties with Byrd to get him here....he definetly fits the mold of what type of free agent they are usually willing to shell out money for.....but yea it won't be a cake walk.

Why do you say HaHa's suspension matters?

Depending on what it is, will that drop him down the board in teams eyes? Or will it even mean he will come out this year? (I expect if its serious it'll be more so)

Think

Ok, I mean it was pretty much a sure thing (as much as it can be) that he was I thought.....and yea a lengthy suspension would probably increase the chances of that happening....and maybe even dropping him enough so we could grab/trade up for him with our 2nd rounder.

Both played at oregon and bills was a bottom dweller when mario williams signed there and the bills dont have the rep the eagles do.

Bills splashed the cash and they have an underrated defense. We don't do the former and we definitely don't have the second (our defense isn't even rated).

If we stay with the 3-4 front, and miss out on Clowney/Teddy/top tier QB, I'm fine with taking Barr up top. He could be a difference maker in the NFL at rush OLB.

Bills defense wasn't lighting the world on fire when he signed.

There's a player called Brandon Denmark who plays LB for Florida A&M.

For RCB's sake, we must draft him.

He really reminds me of Alshonn Jeffery.
