Here is my first 53-man roster prediction. I expect a vet or two to be signed, but for now:

Offense
QB: Matt Ryan // Dominique Davis // Sean Renfree
RB: Steven Jackson // Jacquizz Rodgers // Jason Snelling // Antone Smith
FB: Bradie Ewing
WR: Roddy White // Harry Douglas // Darius Johnson
WR: Julio Jones // Drew Davis
TE: Tony Gonzalez // Chase Coffman // Levine Toilolo
LT: Sam Baker
LG: Justin Blalock // Mike Johnson
C: Joe Hawley
RG: Peter Konz // Phillipkeith Manley
RT: Lamar Holmes // Garrett Reynolds

Defense
LE: Kroy Biermann // Jonathan Massaquoi // Malliciah Goodman
NT: Corey Peters // Travian Robertson
UT: Jonathan Babineaux // Peria Jerry
RE: Osi Umenyiora // Cliff Matthews // Stansly Maponga
WLB: Sean Weatherspoon // Robert James
MLB: Akeem Dent // Brian Banks
SLB: Stephen Nicholas // Pat Schiller
LCB: Asante Samuel // Robert McClain // Dominique Franks
SS: William Moore // Charles Mitchell
FS: Thomas DeCoud // Kemal Ishmael // Zeke Motta
RCB: Desmond Trufant // Robert Alford

Special Teams
K: Matt Bryant
P: Matt Bosher
LS: Josh Harris
RS: Robert Alford

I pretty sure Konz will be moved to center and they will let Johnson and Reynolds battle it out for guard. Also, Motta is more of a SS than FS; however, I am thinking they will convert him to an OLB. He would do some damage at that position because he is a sure tackler and would have above average ability to cover TE's and WR's. He just isn't a safety at the next level IMO.

I agree with tech, konz is our center. Hawey and Johnson will fight it out at guard.

Charles Mitchell was moved from SS to FS. So i think Motta will be our SS/OLB

with us trading up for Maponga, i seriously doubt he will be a PS player, its obvious we wanted him and have a plan for him since we traded up

Things can change, but TD said that Garrett Reynolds is the front runner in the RG competition which pretty much confirms that Konz will move to center.

I also HIGHLY doubt Goodman will start over Kroy let alone any of the veteran DEs. You know how Smitty is about rookies earning their playing time. He is also a big time project. I don't think any of the DEs drafted will have much impact this coming season.

He was selected in the 5th round. The trade up means nothing. We had 4 7th rd picks, and there is no way that all four would make the team. It would have been a waste not to trade the one. We already have Osi, Biermann, and Goodman who he wont pass on the depth chart, and he will have a ways to go to pass Massaquoi and Matthews. I doubt he makes the 53 unless there is an injury or unless we keep 6 DEs.

Also, TD traded up in the 2009 draft in the 5th round to select CB William Middleton. He was waived. Trading up for a guy at a position where you already have 5 players on your roster doesnt mean anything.

Why does nobody have Konz at C? I know some think otherwise, but there are direct quotes saying Konz will likely be at C

I think Goodman will have a bigger impact than most of you think.

Scar brainwashed us into believing that he has direct sources knowing that we see Hawley as the C of the future.

Those "direct sources" should tell the team whats going on. As Asma said, its already been quoted that Konz will compete at center.
