Markelle Martin and Zach Clayton should be on depth chart somewhere.

I give them Titans FO an A on the off-season.

The reason i am give them an A is because it seems they had 2 key parts of a plan, and exucededed it the best they could.

it seems to be the plan on Defense was to get more physical and to get bigger they certianly did that in multiple spots while also aquiring a lot of secondary depth which is key. On offense the Titans made a hige statment basically saying we are all in with Locker and are going to live or die by him. With that thought process thay know they needed to give him the tools to be sucessfull. they have done that. We thought Velascco was pretty good last year well i bet the kid will be better this year with 2 stud OGs on either side and a talented backup pushing him.

Our offenseive line is stout and we have plenty of weapons all around Locker to suceed. He has play makers at every postion on offense. When Kendall Wright is your 4 most explosive playmaker on offense(not counting QB) id say we have some talent. Justin Hunter is going to be a stud!

The only Problem (and really isnt a problem) that we have created is especially for Locker, CJ and the FO and Munch is excuses have been elimanated. We cant use the excuse lockers young-this is year 3, or Locker doesnt have the O-Line or skill players most QBs have. CJ cant say he doesnt of a big time WR or OL to take pressure off of him.

Our Offense has the chance to be dirty.

I gave them a B. Would have given b+/a- but did not feel I could give full A.

I thought they should have taken opportunity to upgrade from Griffin, sign a CB from a pretty talented free agent pool, an added a quality DE. Then
they would have gotten A+

Maybe: Goldson/Porter/Bennett

They improved our 2 biggest holes. Safety and OL.

To me, there is only one need left and that is DL. I think we couldve used another DE and a DT.

Win/Win situation.

We win a lot this year.
We find out we have our QB (Locker). We can add missing puzzle pieces and go for a ring the next year.

We suck this year
We get a top 5 pick and take Bridgewater/Boyd and already have a good offense around him.

For whatever its worth, I was looking at our depth chart on titansonline.com and they have Craig Stevens listed as starting FB. Seems like a way to get Stevens/Walker/Thompson all on the field at the same time, but also seems like a wasted spot for Quinn Johnson

My least favorite part of our offseason was letting Alan Lowry go. I know he's just a "special teams coach" but he left a legacy here. Remember how many games we won last year by special teams alone?

A+

If Jake Locker balls out, you're winning the AFC South.

B+ Pass Rush has not been Specifically Upgraded or Addressed, that is the only reason I refuse to select an A. Also seems there's no attempt to add Quality Depth behind the Injury Prone, but Playmaking MLB McCarthy

Maybe we have overrated him? If not hard to believe he wouldn't be in St. Louis right now.

There are still some FA DE's out there we could pick up.

Abraham, Freeney, KVB, Idonije, etc... Cutting Amano would give us more money to sign one of these guys.

Not to mention I think we'll see a lot more of Ayers with his hand in the dirt and I'm expecting a lot more blitzing.

Either would be good, but I think Abraham would be a better fit. He brings the kind of aggression we're looking for, no disrespect to Freeny's play by any means. I just think Abraham's got a little more attitude that he could bring to the D-line.

I graded it as a B-. I agree that they can still add a veteran DE this summer. I am not comfortable with McCarthy, but I hope he can get these injury issues behind him. Also I am never comfortable with the dreadlock wearing #33 at FS.
