The very first play you cut to is a thing of beauty. If either of our safeties could make a play like that our D is much improved.

There's only a couple things of HaHa in this right? Looks good on that interception and pass break up, doesn't look that great coming up and trying to make a tackle.

I will say, I have kind of been hating on Mosely but I liked what I saw in this tape. He was everywhere and looked physical. Also seems like the guy doesn't take a play off. Hopefully that's not because he is playing miss. st. Compared to better teams.

Lastly, we should just go ahead and wait a year to draft Trey DePriest and Landon Collins.

One thing I noticed about the pass rusher this week was that Michael Sam and Marcus Smith both struggled when trying to play standing up. Dee Ford blew past both of them in the rankings. Jeremiah Attaochu too, if he already wasn't.

If Ford comes into the combine and tears it up, I could honestly see him going before Barr/Mack. Not just because of his senior bowl, either. Ford is the real deal watching all of his games.

Are we even a best player available team anymore?

Datone Jones was projected as a second round pick. Sylvester Williams, Patterson, Ogletree, Elam, Cyprien, Slay are all players I think had a higher grade.

Nick Perry was an obvious reaction to getting destroyed by the Niners and Walden being terrible and leaving. Harrison Smith was one pick after Perry. One pick. Harrison Smith. One pick.

Laughing

So you're board >>>>>>>>>>>>> the Packers? Right. You should be a GM in the NFL, obviously.

Nick Perry played well last year, he was the Packers best pass rusher on a per snap basis. Not sure what you're bitching about with that one. It sucks that the top three picks from the 2012 draft missed as much time as they did this past season but that's what happens when you have a nasty pulled hamstring and tear your ACL late in the season. I fully expect Perry, Worthy and Hayward to play well(as they've all flashed in the past) next season.

We drafted Perry the year before losing to SF in the playoffs (the first time), so I would call that remarkable foresight by Ted rather than obvious reaction.

none of this is true. Other than Harrison being the next pick.

Datone was not a projected 2nd rounder.
Perry was not a reaction pick, he was BVA for us.

So..now your draft board and hindsight is what works? Datone Jones was NOT projected as a second round pick. Walter Football had him ranked as the 31st best prospect, DrafTek had him ranked 23rd, SI had him ranked 21st, Mike Mayock had him ranked 27th, etc. I can keep going on and on, but in no way, shape, or form was he projected as a second round pick.

And Nick Perry was an overreaction? You do realize he wasn't supposed to be on the board when we picked. But keep going with your hindsight all you want to.

Laughing This. Ted with the incredible foresight Laughing

Just a tip. If you are going to rant about how much smarter you are than an actual NFL GM, I'd advise you to have your facts straight Laughing
