I don't expect to get too many plum UDFA's. Our roster is too hard to crack.

Although i like the Okoye signing. At worst he's a nice PS candidate.

Quote:
Asked what he thought of Okoye, Jim Harbaugh said, "Inadequate was my first impression. ... I felt inadequate standing next to him." Harbaugh called Okoye a "great Adonis" and said, "Our creator created a beautiful man."

A bit creepy by Harbaugh.

I wanted Hunt, but this dude might turn out better once he gets some training. This signing makes me a happy camper all around. Got a good feeling about this dude. In a football talent sense only LOL. If he makes the team maybe they can run him aka the refrigerator in goal and short plays.

I think the Okoye pick up is the reason we didn't choose Hunt, which is who a lot of people had us choosing in either of the 1st 2 rounds. He is a similar prospect with more upside given his young age (only 21 v Hunt who is 26 in a few months) and his physical ability and drive.

Okoye picked up the discuss at age 18 and three years later he is in the Olympics. That is ridiculous! What effort and commitment he had to have put in to achieve something so extraordinary.

Can't wait to see how he takes this approach to the NFL given the quality of our coaching staff.
