In a good (penetrating) or bad (getting ragdolled, ran through) way?

If he played to his weight he goes in the 4th with Geathers who is also this size...he is put on skates frequently and has no base.

As far as the UDFA's, right now I'm fairly confident Scott, Pryor, Otten and Arby Jones make this team.

Didn't we just give Shipley a contract though?

2 yr(s) / $1,315,000
Cut him now for like ~200k

Why would we cut him though?

We have Blackmon
Shorts
Sanders

Who else is really going to boot him? Maybe Massoquoi, but we will surely keep 5 WRs

He's basically strictly a slot receiver. So is Ace, and Blackmon can play slot. They may choose to carry someone who is more able to play inside as well as outside.

Shorts, Blackmon, Shipley, Massaquoi, Sanders

Keep those 5. Use Denard as a RB and a WR.

Don't over-complicate this.

Thats what I'm thinking...Plus in a 4 Wide set with 2 on each side, couldnt both essentially play the slot at the same time?...

Or Blackmon goes in the slot and MoMass goes outside.

Any chance Scott can become our qb? What does are his flaws? Seems like we drafted and signed a couple gadget players.

Ryan O'Halloran: 1. Shorts. 2. Blackmon. 3. Massaquoi. 4. Shipley; 5. Sanders.

That should give you a good feel for him.

And here's some game cutups if anyone is interested:

From February 9th

Just reviewed Matt Scott vs USC (2012)

- Seems to alternate between 1) just rifling it on his backfoot & 2) slouching back & semi-shoulder-throwing it

- One of the most caddiewhompous throwing motions I've seen. Seems like with some work, he could have better arm talent than expected.

- What I'm seeing is a mess in mechanics and a lot of one-read/garbage screens that warrant his late-round status.

- Enough arm talent though to also warrant a selection late and a spot on the roster or PS for at least a year or two.

- Looks almost like a smaller-framed less-talented version of Jake Locker (as a prospect)

- A lot of one-read crap but when it's not there he doesn't panic. Keeps eyes downfield. Low delivery point. lots of batted passes.

- Dan Buckner may also be worth a late round selection. Excited for Austin Hill if he is available in 2014.

- I'll retain my 6th round grade on Matt Scott, but I'm more inclined to see him as the selection in that area than before as a project.

Worthy to note:

When I do reviews like this, I try to go through it and gather thoughts while trying to pretend like it is the first time I am seeing the prospects. Helps with the objectivity. At the end, I combine those thoughts with prior thoughts for my ending thought.
