Could be. His Combine sucked, but it wasn't any worse than Brandon Flowers' performance there.

Yeah makes you wonder why else he fell.

News on Poyer will be limited until TC because I don't think the defense works on Nickel packages during OTA's. He should be a backup Nickel CB/ 5th CB for us this year though.

He'll compete with Boykin for the nickel role in TC, but even if he loses that battle, having a stud dime CB is valuable in this NFL era. I'm holding out hope for a Pac-12 player to shine for us. Well, alongside Barkley that is.

Between Ertz, Barkley, and Poyer I think we have a good chance to have some good Pac-12 players on our roster. #loveit

Nothing, he wasn't allowed to be at OTAs due to the NFL's graduation rule. Oregon State graduates late, in June I think (as does Stanford).

If Poyer makes this team, he'll be a big steal. But then again last year I thought having Damaris Johnson and Cliff Harris were steals...One is off the team and the other one is fighting for a roster spot... Confused

But in the near future our secondary will be looking nice assuming our new guys pan out. Assuming Boykin and Marsh become serviceable and Poyer could be the 3rd man in that.

But this is all speculation of course.
