Hooray!

"Charles Johnson was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, but his workout Monday in front of NFL scouts representing 24 teams at Grand Valley State’s pro day could have the receiver vaulting up draft boards.

Johnson (6-foot-2, 215 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.38 and 4.39 seconds. He had a 4.31-second short shuttle and 6.96-second three-cone drill. He had a 39 1/2-inch vertical jump and an 11-foot-1 broad jump. He performed 14 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. The receivers coaches from the Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets were present in Allendale, Mich. for the workout.

Johnson’s pro-day efforts would have placed him among the top performers at the combine in the 40, vertical jump and broad jump. Before his pro day, Johnson had guaranteed that he’d run a 4.39, reports MLive.com.

Johnson does have a red flag, having bounced around between different schools. He initially went to Eastern Kentucky, where he was suspended. He then attended Antelope Valley Community College (Calif.) in 2008, took a season off in 2009, and was at Grand Valley State starting in 2010.

On the basis of his strong pro-day workout, Johnson could be selected as high as the fifth round in the 2013 NFL Draft."

Hell of an athlete. I love this pick. My favorite pick this day other than Franklin.

Alright let's be real I'm not saying this guy is going to be Driver, but there are a lot of things to like about him especially in the 7th.

Exactly. This late, you just got to take guys with the tools, but need the coaching. Did it last year with BJ Coleman and Andrew Datko. Would love to see them grab a QB with one of their last two picks.

Sub 4.4 40 time and almost a 40 inch vertical? Plus he's got some nice height at 6'2? Love the measurables on this guy! Here's hoping he can learn the plays and become a polished route-runner, because that speed and size would make him a very nice target for ARod.

Wow.

He really excels with the screen.

Now couple that with our two RBs... problem, defense?
