What an awesome secondary we will have for our future! Cool

Hope you feel good about this draft Bro
I am GIDDY!! excited... Laughing

But didn't you mean
FS: Thomas
SS: Rambo
I'm not sure, I guess it could be that way but being that Rambo played FS for Georgia in the SEC. If give him the inside track to be our future FS over Thomas. Also, Thomas played a lot of SS in the box at Fresno State. Rambo almost always played FS at Georgia.

I deleted that because you are correct about Rambo. Not sure what I was thinking- some sites had him listed as NFL SS and we drafted Thomas as FS but we now actually have 2 S that can probably play either spot-- but I agree Rambo would be better served as FS absolutely- yeah he is a hawk at FS and reads the QB way better and has Great speed

AWESOME PICK in the 6th Round!
Yeah. Either or, I think they're interchangeable which is great. Both have played in the box and deep as FS's. I like it.

I worry a bit about Thomas in the box not being strong enough, but both of these guys are going to be light years above Doughty in coverage at SS

Rambo I think he would hit harder but I want to see him roaming the field...

Safeties are going to be very important the way TE's are starting to be used in the NFL now

Well that all depends on how well the guys we have this year play. If they play well, I don't think we'll go chasing free agents

Reed had a good year last year and was one of our better DBs.

And it'll be hard to beat his run support.

And his intangibles. Right now I'd say the odd man out would be DeJon Gomes of our safties. Not Reed Doughty.

Not really saying much there... But he is great in run support- he made some awesome tackles at times--I'll give him that, but that's it
He is Toast against a shifty WR or a TE who can catch

But hey I think we can all agree the Madieu Williams experiment is over Laughing

I smiled when this pick came across my phone. This makes a ton of sense.

Anyone else think of Sylvester right away when they say Rambo? All I see when I picture him is on a AA gun shooting at a heli, not his Georgia highlights. But the very next pick was my man crush Boyett. Wish he went UDFA woulda loved to have him also. Anyways awesome value in the 6th.

My favorite Pick: Rambo
(with Phillip Thomas a close 2nd)

Our most underrated pick?
I think it's DE/OLB Brandon Jenkins.

LOL dude Minfield will never start for us . Thomas has a chance, Rambo likely will only come in when Brandons gone or injured.
