Absolute steal. Raw as all get out, but worth it. Watch out in training camp for this kid.

This is one of our picks that I think could be incredibly intriguing. Especially if all he does is rush the passer 5-7 times a game in sub packages.

He has a Mark Anderson, I am just faster than everyone but don't know what I am doing, feel to him.

Interesting bit of info from Jim Miller today about Cornelius Washington. He said that one of the reasons that Washington dropped is that he refused to work out for teams as a 43 DE, that he only wanted to work out as a 34 OLB.

Jim loved the pick, and said the kid should have been long gone by the third round, but that his refusal to work out dropped him on teams boards.

Cornelius will play 43 DE for the Bears - but let the '34' talk begin anew.

The strange thing is he is more explosive out of a 3 point stance than a 2 point on tape.

Maybe he was terrified he would be asked to play more 5 technique.

He definitely is. That's very strange if true.

Why isn't he considered to be a LB?

He's a pass rusher. We dont run a scheme where he can be effective at LB.

That may have been his role in Georgia's scheme, but why does that have to be the case here. I like the idea of a 6'4" LB.

He also seems to be the kind of underachiever who may have untapped potentials which could be tapped by the right coach. I'm sure up to now he has excelled just on sheer physical talent. Intriguing pick at any rate.

I don't know who told Jim that but it does not ring true. In fact, it sounds ludicrous. But I am glad he dropped to us.

b/c he's a special hand in the dirt pass rusher. SPECIAL. Why ask him to do what he's not SPECIAL at when what he is SPECIAL at is sooooooo valuable.
