Wasn't Ivory a RFA?

Ivory was never an option for us. You really think we want swap a player for a pick to a team in our own division Confused

Plus he just signed a new contract for the Jets. With how we ride Doug having a decent rookie or older vet is good enough for now. Maybe next year if none of the guys this year pan our rb should be addressed higher up in the draft. Lattimore would of been a really nice pick for us.

We have Ivory and there is zero chance we trade him let alone want to DUMP him for a 7th!

Dude, Blount is terrible. I would have taken Ivory any day over Blount if it were possible.

So I heard that Schiano wouldve just taken the 7th for Blount.

But Demps isnt much of a bonus. Temper yourselves, based on the info we over in the Pats section found, his devotion to track meant he would miss almost half of the regular season.

He may never play a snap.

Blount was going for a 7th whether Demps was in the deal or not. Word is we wanted to talk to him and see how serious he is about actually doing both.

^^ I really enjoyed your post in the news forum, deuces Smile

Realistically you might see Blount really succeed in NE. With Brady and all those receivers to take guys out of the box, Blount could really flourish. That isn't a luxury he had in Tampa. Then again not being a receiving threat himself, or an able blocker, will still hold him back.

I'm interested to see how BB uses him.

Love me some Jeff Demps.

Michael Smith's job is in jeopardy if Demps is serious about football.

Worth the risk, IMO. Demps speed is ridiculous.

If Demps was serious about football, he'd still be in New England.

I don't disagree. It's a mighty big if.

I'm not expecting much of anything from Demps.

Agreed. Those 3 runs are what the majority of his touches looked like. And man, that game still hurts. I was cringing as I watched the highlights.
