I like this selection. He's got the speed to kill. He just needs some chemistry/time to develop his route running, might not ever happen but with his speed he has a shot to be really effective across from Calvin Johnson.

Is he a #2 though? I mean maybe in the future he could be but initially sounds like a situational deep threat.

Still don't think we have a #2 right now.

Only game I've seen of this guy was against Michigan in the Sugar Bowl 2 years ago. He looked solid, and I can't wait to see how he fits in.

LOL. He didn't play in that game, dude.

I mean that's really a tall task to ask a guy to step up from college and be a teams number 2 right away this late. I mean it can happen, athletically he's got the tools, it's the intangibles now that he'll have to iron out. He'll have to work with Stafford quite a bit imo to get use to this offense( we've seen how ineffective Thomas/Robiskie/Durham was without time.) I mean WR's aren't like screws, they sometime have to gel with the QB for a bit to understand there timing and patterns/tendency's.

I'd say, early on or maybe the whole year I'd count on Burleson likely stepping up on the outside as our number 2.

Can he return kicks or is he a project offensive weapon type guy?

I'm going to root for this kid hard so I can buy a Fuller jersey. Cool

I hope they can develop his speed and inexperience into a true deep threat.

It's not impossible to be a late round WR and have impact, I'm thinking of Marques Colston off the top of my head but I know there have been a few others. Pretty rare though.

Assume they'd be getting one even before that since it was a need.

I doubt he becomes our #2, but the potential is there. I hope he can return kicks, that would be a huge plus. At worst he is a guy with nice size with great speed who is a good deep threat that could take some coverage away from Calvin.

Sanders also.

Not gonna lie, this Fuller kid's tape looks pretty good. I've got hopes for him. Nice hands and ability to separate deep.

Well, he has never returned a kick to date. He is a track star though who walked on to Tech's team after transferring from Kansas. He's got potential in a lot of areas, including returner but his biggest contribution should be on the outside across from Calvin. At 6'2, 205lbs, with 4.3 speed he's got all the tools to beat 1on1 coverage's.
