Adding another offensive lineman. We got a 7th round pick after trading back with the Falcons

Can’t fault Emery for taking another Olinemen…the competition in Camp is going to be pretty intense…it’s wouldn’t shock me if Mills was on the practice squad next year…but it also wouldn’t shock me if he was starting lol.

Emery's really going all-out trying to fix the line. It's about time.

This seems like the Kromer developmental pick. My guess is we see Long at OG this year, but his future is on the outside. Mills seems like his future is in the interior.

Jordan Mills is a 6'5" 318lbs. versatile OG/OT that has a lot of power and nasty.

I think the Bears will work him as a swing back up and a potential long term RG.

He was very good at the Senior Bowl and should make the team and as Mike said I would not be shocked if he pushed someone off the roster.

Exactly what I thought. O-line should be massively improved.

Was really hoping for Rogers or poyer there though

LT: Bushrod
LG: Long, Brown
C: Garza, E. Williams
RG: Slauson, Mills
RT: Webb, Scott

This is not good for Carimi.

Or Eben Britton.

I think this pick along with the Long pick points to us not being able to run Kromer’s short set scheme with traditional OGs.

Slauson gives us 1-2 years to develop Mills.

Mills is the type of guy that Kromer hits a home run with.

This is not good for Carimi.

Add Britton to this and there are 11 guys competing for 8 roster spots.

Slauson, Carimi, & Britten may not be long for the roster once camp opens.

Even Slauson was a LT in college...

Bets on how many times Emery uses the word "versatility" when introducing Mills? lol...I think he is a backup RT or OG from day one...

And when you look at our 4 picks so far not a single one only projects to one position...Emery certainly learn the Pats way.

That's 11 guys. How many do they keep and of that group who all can play at C?
