We sent the Browns a 2014 4th rounder to acquire this pick Sad

Turn that frown upside down my friend! Very Happy

I love this move, 2014 4th rounder is the price of a 2013 5th rounder. I think we got a steal right here, at 6'4 329 we have added additional NT/DE depth!

Really like this move, shows they are not afraid to go get a guy they like! You can bet a team was about to scoop him up...Great move!

yeah, I'm coming around on this one, I'm noticing a lot of people had a mid 4th round grade on him so in essence we got him at value.

I think if Chapman is finally healthy we can say sayonara to Brandon McKinney and Martin Tevaseu

Yeah I imagine Tevaseu is gone for sure, and McKinney will have to earn that roster spot...

Should be some great competition in training camp!

Really intriguing player. Mayock says a guy this size shouldn't be able to move like he does. Guys like Dontari Poe and Phil Taylor come to mind, and those are just massive guys who have rare movement skills.

Now, there is a reason he was a 5th rounder. He played against low competition at Tennessee-Martin. He was playing down there because he got kicked out of Tennessee, and I still can't determine exactly how far you have to go to get kicked out of an SEC school. So there is some off field stuff.

Overall, he cost us a 2014 4th rounder, which to me means he's well worth the risk. If Pagano can get him to play (and all accounts are Pagano is an inspirational coach and probably has a better shot at achieving this then most) then this could be a diamond in the rough.
