From what I've heard, the New DC is gonna use Berry like the old one did last year.

Hope that's not the case.

I think Reid sees Brian Dawkins SS in Berry. A guy who plays both in the box and deep middle.

I would have preferred Rambo or Lester, but not a bad pick by any means.

Yea! I actually got one right Laughing ! I had this guy maybe a rd later but he is definitely our FS. He was literally drafted in the MLB to play centerfield. He can also play CB simlar to Robinson. I really like his upside, very solid pick and fits a need.

I think he'll have or be given every opportunity to take Lewis' job. Or at least #2. The more i watch of him the more i really like this kid.

Good pick here. Good size and speed. Should really push Jalil Brown and DeQuan Menzie IMO.

Reid said they'll start him at FS and go from there.

Watch the TN game and watch how he beats on those talented WRs. I feel he is the best press CB in this draft. KC took two of my favorite players Evil or Very Mad

According to Charlie Casserly, Commings was the 9th best draft steal.

Quote:
9) Sanders Commings, DB, Georgia -- Kansas City Chiefs, Round 5, No. 134

In terms of pure ability, I thought Commings was a second/third-rounder. He blazed a 4.41-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, checking in at 6-foot, 216 pounds. I'd try him at cornerback first, and if that doesn't work out, move him to safety. As a cornerback at Georgia, he was a physical guy who pressed well, and I liked his instincts in zone defense, too. He was not very consistent in his off-man coverage, but did look more athletic in man-to-man drills at the combine. His growth in this area will determine whether he stays at cornerback in the NFL or moves to safety.

I kinda expect to see this kid get a lot of TE matchups. Wanna call that from a CB position or from a S postion be my guest.. it's getting harder and hard to really define those roles these days. Bunch of DB's is the way I look at it anymore.

Not exactly. They are listed in draft pick order. Of his ten steals, Commings was the 9th one taken.
