Specifically, no. Coleman and Allen are back starting together. I don't know what that has to do with Phillips' health, Chung's range or Wolff's development.

Its normally been Allen and Chung "starting" back there during OTAs, but Chung had traveling issues yesterday, so Coleman started in his place. I read that on philadelphiaeagles.com. I'm cool with Allen starting if he truly beats out Kenny, but under no circumstances do I want Kurt back there anymore. Different safety responsibilities this year that may allow Nate to thrive.

All I have heard about Wolff is that he is expected to play mostly ST's this year. He will probably be a backup safety, but won't see a lot of time there.

I'm fine with that. Our SS depth chart isn't deep or consisting of a player having a long term deal, so Wolff learning the position and getting his feet wet on ST is the right move here.

Since some of you were asking about him, here are some words from the man himself:

Quote:
Earl Wolff: B+

The former North Carolina State safety, picked in the fifth round, had the most impressive camp of all the defensive rookies. He grasped the playbook quickly enough to steal a few first-team reps in the final camp days and seemed to naturally understand where to be on most plays. He’ll get a little stronger as his career develops.

Looks like Wolff is impressing to be getting first team reps. (blah blah blah there is no first second or third team, only team reps blah blah blah)
