We could make a better Sixers team with Eagles players. Isn't Boykin a pretty good player?

I meant his explosion, he would go through someone if he wanted to do so.

Not to mention how big he is.

He does have great burst though. Saw his workout at the combine and was really impressed.

That shelf is not 5'8", but really that's nit picking (as it's certainly 5', maybe a bit higher). Still impressive and probably slightly more relevant than the vertical at the combine because of the way he did it. I seem to remeber another safety, who was a bit of a forum favorite, a few years back doing something similar. Eric Weddle seemed to work out ok for San Diego...

Earl actually had ties to Philly.

Quote:
Wolff's mother, Sharon Davis, is a Master Sergeant in the Army National Guard. A native of North Philadelphia and a graduate of Girls High School, Davis has served our country for 29 years. On this Mother's Day, Wolff is honoring his mother by showcasing the discipline and work ethic she instilled in Wolff and his two siblings, an older sister and a younger brother, as the rookie camp concludes at the NovaCare Complex.

Quote:
After he was drafted by the Eagles, Wolff said that it felt like he was "coming back home" as his grandmother, uncles and cousins still live in Philadelphia. At his draft party in North Carolina, Wolff said that some of his family members were wearing Eagles gear and erupted in celebration when the 215 area code showed up on his phone.

im 5'8 and that shelf of pads would be as tall as me.. if Wolff is 5'11 and some.. makes sense that that is 5'8 he has about 3 inches or so on it when he stands next to it.

dude barely leaped and rose so quickly .. wtf.. Shocked .. i watched that like 5 times thinkin it was edited for a sec because he climbed up 40 inches like he was Neo(matrix)..

It reminded me of Adrian Wilson jumping over that bar a while back. Now that dude used to be a specimen... Seriously was an insane athlete for the Cards back in the day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vL19q8yL54

STRAIGHT RIDICULOUS.

Wolff made that look easy though. Two steps and he lands so soft. The landing is the key, he came down completely in control and didn't even flinch. That is a sign of an incredible athlete.

hahaha i love that video AZ, i memeber gushing over it back in the day, Adrian Wilson gets up 70 inches in that video, his asss is about 70+ inches in the air... Shocked Shocked

and dude you said it best about the landing on Wolff's video, no running start or momentum generated on the take off or landing. The way he lifts off so lightly with ease and lands so graceful is so crazy looking, i re-watched it several times thinking they edited it ya know what i mean cause it was weird how easily he lifted and landed.

Hopefully by next year he is dishing out spine chilling hits that can be heard from the nose bleed seats or south street.

So has anyone seen clips of Wolff or heard anything about his play during OTA's?
